ISO 200 & ISO 3200

ISO 200 & ISO 3200

  1. What are the advantages of shooting with a higher ISO setting at a sporting event like a night football game? the higher the ISO # is it might not give a better quality than a low ISO would give.
  2. what suggestion did the author make about using a low ISO? that when there is plenty of light, you should always use the lowest ISO, to retain the most detail and to have the highest image quality.
  3. what suggestions did the author make about using a high ISO? that you should increase the ISO when there is not enough light for the camera to be able to quickly capture an image.

Fast and Slow Shutter Speed

Fast shutter speed

Slow shutter speed

DURING THE DAY
  1. the ducking booth: i would have used the FAST shutter speed because it freezes time.
  2. the food eating contest: i would have used LONG shutter speed
  3. the rock climbing wall: i would use SLOW shutter speed
  4. someone working at a booth: i would use SLOW shutter speed
  5. the DJ working on the middle if the center: i would use SLOW shutter speed
  6. the diamond's performing: i would use the FAST shutter speed

                                             TOWARD THE NIGHT

  1. the ducking booth:  FAST
  2. the food eating contest: LONG
  3. the rock climbing: SLOW
  4. someone working the booth: SLOW
  5. the DJ: LONG
  6. the diamond's: FAST
THE SETTING:

Manual: is where you put the shutter speed and aperture yourself.
Shutter Priority: where you put the shutter speed manually and the camera does the aperture automatically .
Aperture Priority: where your put the aperture manually and the camera does the shutter speed automatically

Aperture

this has both F2.8 & F16

we should relate the aperture to the eye.
the smaller the aperture, the larger the F-number , the higher the aperture, the smaller the F-stop.
the smaller the aperture affect's the depth of field by  making the focus sharper vs. with a smaller F-number it isolates the background and making it more blurry.

Great Black and White Photography 3

One thing that caught my eye about these photos was the way they provide a different perspective to small things. Just the way they portrayed things, like the reflection of the mountain in the lake.

  • i see a reflection of the sky in the wate.
  • i smell fish in the air.
  • i hear the ripples of the water hit the shore.
  • i taste of fish in my mouth from the lake water.
  • i feel the cold wind and water coming upon my feet.

i would rather make a blog, than a poster.

A Time When I Was Brave...

A time i was brave was when my appendix almost busted and i had to go to the emergency room and then they told me i had to go to the children's hospital, and i was crying for he pain and my parents thought i was crying because i was scared but i wasn't. I didn't want to scare them and so i had to be brave about the pain and when it was all over , i was fine and on my way to recovery  :)
